Balanced Collective Welcomes Rebecca Lukomski, a therapist with a deep passion for supporting those she works with

The honor is all ours, Rebecca. Welcome to the team.

"You know how sometimes, a moment sticks with you forever — good, bad, or somewhere in between?

For me, it was a simple “Hey, what if…” text. A message that carried an opportunity I couldn’t — and wouldn’t — say no to.

I’ve known since I was 13 that therapy was the path for me. I did the schooling, completed my internship, and landed my first job in the behavioral health field at a remarkable place where I learned so much. I had the privilege of working with incredible humans who supported me as I grew into the clinician I am today.

Recently, I found myself starting to ask: What’s next? I loved (and still love) the work I was doing, but something was missing. My cup wasn’t quite full.

And then that “what if…” message came. And I cried. Because sometimes, the right thing shows up exactly when you need it — and as the cliché goes, opportunities like this don’t come around often.

I’m beyond humbled, excited, and grateful to be joining the incredible team at Balanced Collective — a group of compassionate, skilled clinicians working across areas like maternal mental health, trauma, eating disorders, and burnout.

In this new chapter, I’ll be offering evidence-based therapy for anxiety and obsessive-compulsive and related disorders, in a setting where I feel deeply supported — as a clinician, a human, and a whole person. I get to work with a leader who values my expertise, respects my autonomy, and believes in sustainable, balanced work."
