Clinical Training & Supervision
Your training hours are the most instrumental of your career and your supervisor, potentially the most important person in your professional world.
Dr. Rae Anne Ho Fung has trained and supervised dozens of LPC-ITs, APSWs, doctoral interns, and clinical supervisors in her career.
My approach
I take a developmental, competence-based approach to supervision. I expect supervisees to vary in skill from novice to ready-for-independent practice on any given clinical competency. I work with supervisees to gain insight into their areas of strength and growth edges. Together, we create a comprehensive, goals-based plan for development over the course of our time together.
Supervisees can expect to receive guidance in case conceptualization with attention to socio-cultural influences on mental wellness, treatment planning, risk assessment and safety planning, ethical decision-making, professional development, compassion resilience, and more.
Supervision will consist of weekly group supervision sessions and one individual supervision per month. Supervisees will be expected to come to supervision sessions prepared with clinical cases and professionally beneficial topics to discuss with their cohort.
